HARTFORD, SD – Starting on February 4^th, Hartford’s full service flower shop, Backdoor Garden is open for business just in time to buy your special someone a Valentine. Located downtown Hartford in the historic Mundt Building, Backdoor Garden will have balloons, fresh flowers, and flower arrangements available. They also deliver. 

Backdoor Garden will be holding its grand opening in March. Owner Rickie Kunzweiler will be designing indoor garden for all to enjoy including fresh flower arrangements, silk arrangements, plants, garden items, and gift/décor items. Backdoor Garden also has recycled items in stock to help brighten up your home and garden. 

If a wedding is in your future, stop in. Rickie also loves to design weddings and special events.  She will take you from start to finish and plan for all of the items that you might not first consider! Backdoor Garden will have rental items and will search those items that you wish you had time to find. Your first consultation is free.

In March, Backdoor Garden will hold a special class for prom attendees to order their special arrangements to be ready in April. Watch for details on Facebook for the announcement of that date as well as the grand opening.

In the meantime please call (605-941-7961) with any special needs that you may have or stop in and try their historic teas and watch the spring garden come to life. Backdoor Garden will be there for the most important moments in your life. Their hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday and 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays. If you see the lights on stop in, a florist is always working on something!
